  1. High energy density and high safety lithium-ion single cell technology: High energy density and high safety are the inevitable development demands of lithium-ion batteries. By coating the cathode material to alter its surface physicochemical structure, the electrochemical stability of the cathode surface is effectively enhanced, along with the cathode discharge capacity and cycle stability, thus improving the battery energy density. Gel electrolyte with flame-retardant compounds and ceramic separators are adopted to raise the thermal decomposition temperature and enhance battery safety.

Intelligent management and control technology for lithium batteries: A multi-level intelligent management and control system is applied, featuring precise algorithms, fault detection and location. It enables accurate prediction of the State of Charge (SOC) and State of Health (SOH) of batteries, ensuring safety during battery operation.

  3. Thermal runaway prevention technology for lithium battery packs: Battery packs operate in sealed cabins. Considering multiple factors such as heat consumption, layout, temperature control indicators and service environment, finite element analysis is used to model the heat generation and dissipation of high-capacity battery packs in fully sealed enclosures. Combined with thermal runaway tests, a thermal control model for battery modules is established to guide the optimal structural design of modules. The thermal equilibrium design is optimized through the selection and layout of thermal insulation materials to ensure the temperature consistency of battery modules, improving the discharge performance and cycle life of battery packs.

  4. High-efficiency integration technology for lithium batteries: Research on the modular topology of large-scale lithium-ion battery systems is carried out, including finite element-aided structural design of battery modules and lightweight structural design with new material selection. This improves the grouping efficiency and realizes the high-efficiency integration of lithium batteries.
